    The private and international education Directorate in the Eastern region Yosef alraketi stressed that the support of the Directorate and the Ministry of national education sector for the investment in this type of education is consistent and supportive of the country's development plans. He said that during the Tuesday meeting of the Eastern Province branch Chamber of Qatif, was held yesterday evening (21/10/2014) he said also that private education and international in the Kingdom takes several forms, there are educational projects offering general education the same curriculum in public schools, with the addition of an agreed hours teaching English and computer, while projects under the private education provides special education for specific groups of people with special needs, and other education specialists in a particular field, such as computer or English beside there's an educational investment projects to adopt foreign methods fully, which offers education to specific communities, the latter are licensed but with the addition of articles on identity, religion and language.
    Alraketi said that under those formulas we look to be a passable for excellent private education route, so was the idea of international education, which attract models or curricula from overseas from America or Britain, in addition to local curricula does not prevent our system from bringing certain curricula, or certain schools, but according to domestic controls are flexible, only add specialized educational doses of our national identity and our customs and traditions, as well as our language, our religion, all these models are available, the above domestic controls, we have in the eastern region around 39 foreign school, 12 schools which operate under the umbrella of foreign embassies.

    The Ministry is keen on the gifted in the governmental and international schools, adopting them and pay tuition fees, even if high. It also said the Ministry's keenness for schools with to have modern techniques, because most people are preparing their children for the scholarship, so must be the student's readiness for tests that are expected to enter foreign universities, so we all knew we encourage bringing everything in favor of the student.  On the selection of the Director alraketi said the Ministry is responsible for appointing and for his salary, also he has to be Saudi national, and if any school owner wishes to appoint a Director from his side , it must undergo testing for the Ministry, which will give this Manager after completing the process of choosing all the guidelines and regulations.
    He noted that private schools are issued licenses from the region itself, while the foreign education is licensing from Riyadh. And about teaching special needs groups, the license to this type of education is open, and in the eastern region we have schools for these groups.. Pointing out that investors in this area are mostly coming to this area by a certain desire, either has a son of this category, and in general the education of this category require a higher cost and greater supervision, especially the needs of diverse, often under the direct supervision of the Ministry of Social Affairs also.
